THE first match of the season saw Okehampton face last season's title winners.

Okehampton dominated and put Central under severe pressure, this however was met with a keeper in outstanding form making save after save with a couple of posts hit in between.

The second half however was a different story, Central made a break against the run of play and hit a fine shot which went in, then in quick succession two more followed and Okehampton couldn't quite get the goal they needed, however they went in search of it right to the last whistle.

THIS match started in the same vein with Okehampton being met by a keeper that just wouldn't be beaten.

In the end there was too much pressure and it wasn't long before Connor Madge notched his first of the season, not to be outdone, Cowan Wilson popped up with a cool finish. It was now one way traffic and Okehampton were playing with confidence and style. Conor Madge latched on to a neatly threaded ball and picked up his second of the day. Tom Pike was next on the score sheet with a cool finish from an outstanding piece of attacking play, and to round off an excellent game Connor popped up to claim his first hatrick of the season.
