IN the Okehampton Ladies Netball League Wallabies beat Lifton 25-11.
Wallabies put in another impressive performance and dominated this match against an experienced Lifton side. Although not a high scoring game Wallabies' young shooters scored when it mattered and were leading the first quarter by five goals.
Wallabies continued to hold on to their lead despite the efforts of Lifton's defence. In the final quarter Wallabies pulled away and won the match by 14 goals.
Busy Bees 35
Halwill Hurricanes 23
Busy Bees won comfortably however the newly formed Halwill Hurricanes put in a fine performance over the more established Busy Bees with little to separate the teams at quarter time. Busy Bees increased their lead over the next four quarters to finish the match 12 goals ahead.

Bradford Belles found their form and played some great netball with the young shooters not missing any of their chances to lead by 10 goals at the end of the first quarter. Sue Manners at centre controlled the play well despite some great interceptions from her opponent Jemima Powlesland and Mel Balsdon stepping in at GD played some great defensive play. In the last quarter Sparks began to decrease the deficit but had left it too late and Belles were too strong for them to close the gap.
