ON an extremely cold and blustery afternoon, it was always going to be a game of two halves! 

Bideford could only muster 12 players and no front row so uncontested scrums were the order of the day. 

North Tawton started brightly with the wind behind them and Lottie Trerise, starting at number 10, ran in the first try putting it behind the post to allow Clara Nielson to slot over the conversion.

Three more tries before half time, with one conversion saw North Tawton 24-0 up at half time. 

The second half saw more spirited play from Bideford.  

With North Tawton playing against the wind and it getting colder they still managed to score two more tries from Lynsey Prout and Clara Nielson. This was another great team win for North Tawton ladies, who top the league.
