THE hockey game started and Okehampton were soon on the attack; a good move  down the left found Simon Bourne who raced into the D but failed to convert his chance.

Like a carbon copy of last week the Okehampton pressure fizzled out and Teign started to dominate the game. The visitors went ahead from a good short corner move.

The Okehampton defence was soon breached again, despite a diving tackle from Ian Milller; 0- 2 soon became 0-3 and then 0-4.

Okehampton  had to stop the rot and tighten up at the back.

The home side then perked up with a good move involving Chris Luxton; his reverse pass found Jake Lloyd — who controlling  the ball well slotted the ball passed the advancing keeper to make it 1-4 half time.

Ian Miller did not return for Oke in the second half.

The second half saw a much better display by Okehampton, and they were unlucky not to pull a goal back via the stick of Dann Rademaker. 

Despite another heavy defeat this side keep improving and Okehampton's man of the match was Ed Howard at centre back.
