Okehampton Colts 17

Kingsbridge Colts 7

KINGSBRIDGE started the better side and after some slick handling score in the corner which they converted.

This easy score shocked the Okehampton boys into action with some great defensive tackles and strong runs from the pack forcing Kingsbridge into making mistakes conceding a penalty on their 22 line. Oke decided not to kick for the posts but ran the ball which resulted in a great try for Will Cooper.

The visitors came close to scoring near the end of the half but some great tackling in defence by all the Oke players forced Kingsbridge into an error as the home side duly cleared their line to make it 5-7 in favour of Kingsbridge at half time.

The second half started well with the home side playing down the slope and creating some good chances eventually resulting in Calum Pilivant crashing over for a try.

The visitors did not give up and tried to attack but the home side's defence was too strong with some great tackles coming from Pat Nash, Ryes Palmer and Ollie Francis, the latter of the three earning a yellow card.

Oke continued to pressure the visitors with some surging runs from Liam Sampson and Lewis Taylor. The home side's last try was scored by Ryes Palmer and was converted by Lewis Taylor.
