Okehampton Colts 43

AFTER a break of three weeks due to the bad weather this was another great win for the Okehampton lads on the road.

Good early pressure against the elements saw skipper and tight head prop Pat Nash crash over from short range for the first of his hat-trick of tries, followed by further tries from Callum Pillivant and Giles Heard, with Lewis Taylor converting three of them to make it Exmouth 0 Okehampton 31 at half time.

In the second half further tries were scored by Callum Pillivant and Giles Heard. Lewis Taylor converted one of them.

In the last quarter, Okehampton let the Exmouth side back into the game and conceded two yellow cards but great defence kept Exmouth at bay.

This is a two-leg competition which will hopefully see Exmouth travelling to Okehampton for the return game in the next couple of weeks.
