OKEHAMPTON started the game strong with Jo Moppet opening the scoring in spectacular style with a shot to the top right corner.

The Plymouth side tried their best to even the score but superb saves from goalie Shannon Osman, and strong defence from Jane Jones and Carol Taylor kept them out. Several fouls led to Okehampton conceding a series of short corners but the defence held strong.

Okehampton pushed hard into the Mannamead defence and perfect passing skills from captain Lesley Bingham and Moppett led to a superb goal.

Once again Okehampton flew towards the home goal and strong and fluid passing from Jane Jones and kim Davey lead to a beautifully taken third goal.

In the second half Okehampton were left troubled with key player Kim Davey taken off injured. This did not stop them fighting hard for another goal.

The attack worked effortlessly together passing and moving smoothly towards Mannamead's defence, and were awarded a flick when a home player stopped the ball with a foot on the line.

Jo Moppett stepped up to take the flick and scored a superb goal in the bottom left corner.

Mannamead pushed hard trying to pass Oke's defence but solid and perfectly timed tackling from player of the match Rachel Hammett left them no opportunity to score.

In the final few minutes Oke really stepped up the game with Joey Drake, Tara Davidson and Winnie Rademaker spreading the game and working together. This 4-0 win for Okehampton reflecting a great team effort.
