South West two

Plymouth University C 1

THE game started at a cracking pace with the ball flowing up and down both ends of the pitch.

Then Caleb Bourne for Oke A received a pass into the D from Jacob Lloyd and crossed to Chris Luxton to score. Shortly after Plymouth University made a run down into Oke's D, straight toward Oke keeper Ebby Valance, who slid out to intercept but the ball but was unable to stop the away striker slipping the ball into the net.

A vigorous response from Okehampton led to a quick second goal scored by Luxton, via a rebound saved shot from Stuart Jarvis.

It started heavily hailing leaving almost everyone, especially the two keepers, freezing cold. Plymouth University put up a good offence and defence, likewise with Oke, but generally the ball stayed within the visitors' half, until Luxton took a pass from Tim Morgan to hit his hat-trick.

The second half was a tough part with only a few runs and goals to liven the cold hands up, including a goal from Lloyd, converting from a short corner to make it 4-1 to Okehampton.
