YOUNG runners from Okehampton Primary School Years 5 and 6 children (pictured right) took part in the South Tawton cross country competition. Their teachers said that the children did remarkably well, their effort and determination to complete the course was exemplary.  There were nine teams who took part and the Oke A team finished third and Oke B fifth. Pupils Connor Mills and Poppy Benstead (pictured left with their trophies) finished first boy and second girl respectively out of the 108 children who took part in the individual competition.
