DIVISION one saw the Mixtures at home to Milton Abbot A. Chloe Greenaway put the mixture ahead 1-0, beating Oticia Pochat. Tim Westcott levelled at 1-1 against Dan Bashford and scored a fine maximum with Milton Abbot taking the four singles to lead 1-5. Dan won the next against Ian Osborne 3-2. Milton won the next two singles and the doubles for an 8-2 win.

In the next match Anchorage played Okehampton A. Naomi Jackson, John Down and John Squire all scored maximums and doubles for a 10-0 win but Malcolm Hopkins took John Squire to a four lead decider as did Colin Jones and Colin Brooker.

Tavistock took on Bridestowe in the next match. Mark Tancock scored a maximum playing his first match for Bridestowe and helped his side to a 5-5 draw. John Cheung won two singles for Tavistock and joined Roger Bowkett in the doubles beating Mark Fogerty and Francis Griffiths for the draw.

In the last division one match Milton Abbot were against Anchorage A. Despite Tim Westcott scoring a maximum for Milton Abbot, Anchorage picked up their first points of the season winning the match 6-4, to lift them off the bottom of the league table.

Division two saw North Wyke at home to Horrabridge. John Stewart scored his three maximum to help Horrabridge to a 5-5 draw. Enrique Cancer Berroya won two singles for North Wyke as did Jill Whitley. Enrique and Don Harkness won the doubles against John and Gill Northey for the draw.

In the next match Gunnislake played Anchorage B. Dave Wilson and Roger Gilbert both scored maximums for Anchorage. Mike Kinger and John Wilkinson saved the whitewash. Mike beat Jenny Gilbert 3-2. The last doubles was another 5-leg for Anchorage, John and Mike just losing out to Dave and Roger 3-2 for an 8-2 win for Anchorage.

Okehampton B took on rivals Okehampton C, who proved a strong team and took the match 10-0 to move into second in the table, just one point behind leaders Anchorage B. Will Dodge took Martin Rose and Frank Cockburn to a fourth leg decider. Mark Ralph and Raz Wilson took Frank and Richard Rose to four legs in the doubles.

Okehampton C took on Gunnislake. Martin Rose and Frank Cockburn both scored maximums but John Wilkinson beat Ben Bucton as did Mike Kinger, with Okehampton winning the doubles for an 8-2 win.

In the next match Anchorage took on North Wyke who beat them for the first time with Steve Granger scoring a maximum to keep his 100% record. Also Zubo Chang scored his first maximum in the doubles. Dave Vanstone and Roger Gilbert beat Mark Tooth and Zubo for a 6-4 win for North Wyke. In the second singles Dave Vanstone took Steve to a five-leg decider just losing out 16-18 in the fifth. Mark Tooth also lost out to Roger in the fifth leg, 7-11.

The last match, Horrabridge were home to Moretonhampstead. John Stewart won his fourth maximum, Ken Underhill, Brian Skilton and Paul Brodey won two singles and Brian and Paul won doubles against John and Lesley Coleman for a 7-3 win for M'hampstead.
