OKEHAMPTON Running Club members raced at three races over three days at the weekend.

Ali Holliday and Carole Cornwall ran in the Chudleigh Carnival six mile road race finishing together in 52 minutes 06 seconds.

Paul Crease was the sole representative for the club at the Haytor Heller. He finished 14th overall from the 254 runners in 46.48.

ORC’s first race of the season, the Cosdon Hill Run, a traditional out and back fell race to the top of Cosdon Tor, took place from Belstone Village Fair. Andy Vallance finished in second place ahead of race director, Paul Crease, in fourth. These two then went on to take first and second place in the egg throwing competition!
