SIX Okehampton Otters had a successful time on Sunday when they entered the Devon County ASA Development Gala 2012 held at the newly opened Plymouth Life Centre.

All the swimmers had to achieve qualification times to enter the event and personal best times were achived across the board by the whole team of Katrina Adam, aged 13, Georgina Close 13, William Aveyard 12, Oliver Bourne 12, James Close 10, William Cunningham 10.

The Otters did not return empty handed with William Aveyard winning the gold medal in the 100m butterfly boys 12 years. and silver in the 200m breaststroke in the same age group.

Will Cunningham won the gold in the 200m breastroke boys 10 years.
