THERE were good results for the Okehampton Running Club members who took part in the Bideford Half Marathon with several new personal bests being set despite the wet conditions.

Roger Voaden led the way with his customary fast run to finish in 20th place overall in a UKA diamond award time. A diamond award also went to Marilyn Cooper who ran a PB and won the prize for the first FV60 to finish. There were PBs for Jason Ewing, Charlotte Radnor and Carole Cornwall who all put in cracking runs. Carole knocked an impressive seven minutes off her previous PB and congratulations go to Heidi Wills who put in a great run on her first ever half marathon debut.
