MARITAL artists from Chaos gym in Okehampton made the long journey to Chatham in Kent at the weekend, to compete in Inferno 2 iska Muay Thai championship.
Sammy Jo Luxton, aged 13, came away with her seventh title after outclassing her opponent from the Unit 1 Gym with great clinch work and great combinations to claim the ISKA British title for her weight and age on points.
Jordan Gale, aged 12, came away with the British title as well he was too strong and quick for his opponenet from the Storm Gym winning in style with great combinations.
Will Shaw, 8, competed for the Southern Area title but unfortunatly lost a close fight on points to a strong opponent from the Minotaurs gym. Jack Marsh, showed heart and spirit in his fight in his defeat while Lee Baker also lost against his opponenet from the Karma gym in a good match.
This Sunday the fight team will be travelling up to Manchester to compete in the Celtic Championships.
Trainers Steve Pender and Christi Campbell were very proud of there fight team for doing their gym and themselves proud in their respective matches.
