THERE was great success for Tavistock Wheelers Youth Cycling in the first round of the South West Cyclo Cross League, at Perranporth.

12 riders, aged between eight and 15 represented the club in the first of 12 rounds of the league, which takes place at venues throughout the South West.

Ryan Kingdon won the boys under 12 and Emma Luckham the girls under 12. Joe Dix won the boys under 14 and Rosie Andrews the girls under 16. Leo White came second under 14 boys and Lara Dix third under 10 girls.

There were also many top five finishes for members of the club.
