SEVEN members of Tavistock Swimming Club recently travelled to Hengrove Park in Bristol to compete in the City of Bristol Level 1 Meet.

The meet was the first long course gala for these club members for the year and they swam well to produce some excellent results; there were 13 personal best times and their remaining results being very close to their personal best times.

Alfie Morgan produced five personal best times in his six events, while Nathaniel Rookes achieved personal bests in three of his five events and in his remaining events he was just 0.02 seconds outside his personal bests.

Thanae Garland also swam 2 personal best times in her three events. Also competing at this gala were James Anderson, Hannah Chitty, Cameron McGurk and Kieran Rookes.
