ON Saturday Okehampton will experience its first ever Thai Boxing show ever to take place at the Parklands Leisure Centre. Hosted  by local club Chaos Muay Thai and promoter Peter Spensley said it is promised not only to be a crowd pleaser , but also to benefit the local community with this new experience of the martial art.

There will be a full fight  card with the local Chaos team in action, from junior level all the way up to professional senior level. There will be strong opposition coming from Scotland, Wales and even Holland, it's hoped to be a spectacular show .

Headline bouts are female star Christi Brereton versus Scottish star Amy Pirnie for Celtic british title; local Lee Carey will step into the  ring for the first time; Chantelle Tippett, aged 12 , the English and British title at her weight will take on a tough opponent from Holland. Other West Devon fighters taking part are Pete Yip, Jordan Gale, William Shaw  Munk Orgil, Alex Cole and Marie Day
