THERE are just a few spaces left in this year’s Tavy13 half marathon, taking place on March 19.

Race director Martin Exley-Deane of Tavistock Athletic Club, said: ‘Plans are going well for the Tavy13, along with the primary schools challenge to be held on March 19.

‘The primary schools challenge is completely full again and the half marathon has just 150 places left – so runners need to be quick and get their entries in.

‘Details can be found at www.tavy13.co.uk — the route is beautiful, taking in the western fringes of Dartmoor with a five-mile downhill from Pew Tor to finish on the track. Runners are guaranteed a fabulous welcome home.’
