ON Saturday Okehampton Golf Club a four ball better ball Stableford competition was held and there was a real tussle for first position in division one, with the top three pairings all scoring 41 points.

After count back the winners were Evan Rees and Paul Rattenbury. Second place was awarded to Martin Cox and John Ripley and in third were Malcolm Hill and Simon Taylor. Division two winners were brothers Lewis and Matthew Parry with 41 points. In second place were John and Matthew Flavin with 40 points on the back nine from, in third, Alan Dunn and Alan Jeffery.
