THIRTEEN riders took advantage of a calm but evening to ride the Okehampton Cycle Club 10 mile trail.
Four riders achieved new personal best times for the tough course between Bridestowe and Lewdown. Gavin MacDougall was overall fastest with a superb time of 25 minutes, 18 seconds with Tim Mitchell a close second in 25:27, another great effort. Other notable performances were Graham Roberts, riding the course for the first time in 26:36, and Dee Richards, likewise on her first attempt and not content with being the first lady home in last weekend's Dartmoor Classic, crossed the line in 30:43. Rupert Warren, also on his first ride on the circuit came home in 28:36.
