Heavitree Social Youth U10s 1 Okehampton Argyle U10s 1 A CUP final spot at Exeter City's St James's Park awaited the winners of this semi final. Played at Cullumpton Rangers the game started brightly with both the talented sides playing end to end football. With great heart Argyle worked tirelessly to repel one of the Heavitree side's counter attacks. In equal measure Heavitree put everything behind the ball to stop Oke's fine and slick passing game, and it was 0-0 after an entertaining first half. The second half continued in the same vein with no quarter being given. Midway through the half Oke found themselves trailing to a fine strike from Heavitree. Argyle dug deeper and threw everything at Heavitree, but they were caught by a quick counter attack and a fine strike was superbly saved by Will St Pierre. With time running out Oke captain Cowan Wilson found himself unmarked in the box to fire home the equaliser. The final whistle soon came and it was to be 10 minutes' extra time. There was to be no let up in the play and a gripping extra time period was played out scoreless before Argyle went through on penalties. Argyle are now through to the cup final on May 4, kick-off 10.30am at St. James's Park Exeter. Anybody wishing to come and support Argyle U10s would be welcome. Argyle: Will St Pierre, Ethan Mulholland, Ben Dennis, Mari Baldwin, Harry Pope, Kieran McCallum, Tom Walsh, Harry Camies, Cowan Wilson and Connor Madge.
