OKEHAMPTON U14s entertained both Bideford and a touring side from Keynsham, Somerset in a three way tournament.

IN wet and muddy conditions the teams were well matched and the play went from end to end, with both teams switching from attack to stalwart defence. Oke finally broke the deadlock when Ben Arnold piled into Bideford's defendence to dot the ball down. Okehampton looked like they would control the game through the second half but Bideford ran in a return try from around the half way line.

Keynsham U14s 0

BEFORE playing Okehampton the Keynsham side were just narrowly defeated by Bideford. The game was played in difficult conditions, with the pitch underfoot starting to get heavy.

Okehampton controlled the forward game and made it difficult for Keynsham to play from anywhere but deep in their own half.

Pat Ewen ran in the first try with an impressive run through Keynsham's defence. Hallum Chapman then finished of another good forward drive to run in a second. He quickly followed wth a second. Reece Peacock chipped in with a try just about on full time. Jacob Horn slotted two conversions.
