RESULTS for the week ending August 30 for Yelverton Bowling Club are as follows:

In both the men’s and ladies’ leagues no matches were completed due to bad weather on the moor.

Mixed friendly, Yelverton won away against Holsworthy, 104-74. Yelverton’s best rinks (Sutton, D Whittaker, T Meek 35-9, R Perryman, P Ross, M Mait 24-9, D Seeley, M Golden, H Viney, 21-6).

With the help of two of Sir Francis Club who filled in for missing Yelverton players, Yelverton won away at SFD Tavistock, 102-90. Yelverton’s best rinks (R Peters, T Gobby (SFD), H Lock, P Hellier 21-15).
