SOUTH Zeal dominated Torridgeside from the beginning, in this second round of cup on Saturday, and took the lead after 10 minutes through a Jamie Mallett header.

When Dan Wakeham made it 2-0, Zeal were coasting but after missing six or seven clear chances Torridge side hit back and made the score 2-1 after a mixup in the Zeal defence.

Back in the contest the young North Devon side could smell an upset and after 20 minutes of the second half they broke down the left and scored the eaqualiser.

South Zeal now looked shaky but changed their formation, and with 15 minutes left went through with goals from Stuart Entwistle, Harry Geering, Redd Cann and Harley Cann.

They now progress to the third round for the first time for more than 15 years.
