GET Changed successfully performed to delegates at the Devon Care Training Conference in Exeter last week.

The theatre company performed a specially written rap song called 'We Are the People', depicting a variety of abuse scenarios experienced by those with learning difficulties.

Get Changed works with adults with learning disabilities. They address topical disability issues in an accessible and inspirational way through drama. By promoting social inclusion, participants can build their confidence and realise their full potential.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the company needs to raise funds to continue their work. Their next fundraiser is a unique art auction taking place at the Church House in South Tawton on Saturday October 29.

The auction has more than 100 items listed so far, with each piece donated by a local artist. The auction will take place on the website specially set up by Get Changed, with art enthusiasts able to make bids online before the closing time of 4.30pm on auction day.

You can look at the artwork up for sale and make bids online at http://www.getchangedartauction.weebly.com">www.getchangedartauction.weebly.com and have the opportunity to make further bids at the auction, which takes place from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
