SEVERAL break-ins and vandalism to vehicles are among the crimes in the Okehampton area this week.
• THIEVES broke into a recycling centre in Merrivale Road on Exeter Road Industrial Estate in Okehampton.
The theft took place sometime between 4.45pm on Friday, December 22 and 9.20am on Saturday, December 23, CR/111099/17.
• A ROLL of topside beef worth £40 was stolen from the farm shop at Brickyard Farm Shop near Hatherleigh on at lunchtime on Christmas Eve, CR/111529/17.
Police would like to speak to a small woman with a pale complexion, wearing a black cap and dark coat who was seen at the scene.
• THE rear window of a Mazda 626 parked on Fox Close, Okehampton was smashed in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, CR112266/17.
• BUSINESS premises were broken into on the North Road industrial estate in Okehampton sometime between 1am and 1.15pm.
Nothing was apparently taken and there was no CCTV footage. However police are analysing forensic evidence was left at the scene, CR/112310/17.
• A CAR parked in Baldwin Drive, Okehampton was damaged by vandals sometime between Sunday, December 24 at 11am and Thursday, December 28 at 3pm, CR/112355/17.
They apparently damaged the windscreen and roof. CR/112355/17.
