A TEACHER from Whitchurch Primary School has set up a special social media account where she reads one book a day online in order to provide a familiar face for youngsters during this uncertain time.
Jenny Lane from Tavistock said: ‘I wanted to create an account which enables parents to show their young children a familiar face during this time of uncertainty.
‘I have a small collection of story books at home and am filming myself reading them.
‘It’s lovely to see that other local teachers are wanting to get involved too.
‘The parental feedback has been positive and we just hope to put a smile of some children’s faces.’
