MORE top names have joined the final list for the Moretonhampstead Festival of Food, Drink and Arts, which takes place on Saturday March 5.
The additions to the programme include flamboyant fish masters Paul and Steve Reah, who recently opened a new seafood restaurant in Torquay, and Chagford's Mill End head chef Wayne Pearson.
Some 70 stalls have now confirmed their participation in this weekend's festival.
As well as the chance to try and buy fabulous local food and drink, festival-goers will be treated to cookery demonstrations from some of the South West's best chefs, including Michelin-starred Michael Caines from Gidleigh Park, who will be opening the event.
Festival organiser Peter Middleton, chair of the Moretonhampstead Businesses Association, said: 'Securing the participation of the Reah brothers and Wayne Pearson is the icing on the cake if not the cherry on the top!'
'We are overjoyed with the response we've received from suppliers and producers to take part in this year's festival.
'Visitors are guaranteed a great day out with celebrity chef demonstrations, bands, Morris dancers, magicians, choirs, children's entertainment, art exhibitions and a secret studios arts trail, not to mention the great food on offer.'
The festival, launched in 2009, aims to promote local food suppliers and producers. More information is available at http://www.moretonfestival.com">www.moretonfestival.com
