A NEW free book lending service has started in Chagford Library. It offers a range of subjects, including gardening, food, farming, ethical living, practical skills, transition towns, climate change, peak oil, spirituality, green energy, and ideas for a changing world.

Inspired by the Proper Job Book reuse service,  Nicky Scott has generously offered some of his own prized collection of books as a resource, to stimulate thinking, debate and knowledge within the community.

Organisers are very grateful for the support of Erica in administering this new service.

Those interested will need to be a member of the library — it is easy to sign up. They are invited to come and browse the new 'Proper Books' section, before taking home some new reading.
