A GROUP of youngsters enjoyed a colourful and exciting drama workshop programme this half term.
Led by drama teacher Mikhal Brandstatter, the children looked at CS Lewis' famous tale 'Alice in Wonderland', exploring the story's themes and characters.
Last Friday they put on a performance for friends and family, taking on wacky roles like the Cheshire Cat, and the Mad Hatter. The performance was complete with props, costumes and face-paint.
The play concluded with the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, followed by a real life tea party with mad hats and fun food.
Mikhal said: 'All the children worked extremely hard. The less experienced youngsters surprised everyone with their commitment and concentration, and the more experienced children impressed with their ability to learn whole scripted scenes and monologues.
'We all had a brilliant time. As always, I am happy and inspired by how much was accomplished in so little time.'
