A REGULAR information roadshow will be offering advice on a range of housing issues in June from homelessness to affordable home improvements. West Devon Borough Council's Connect service is on the road again visiting Belstone, Chagford, Exbourne and Hatherleigh. Encompass South West will be joining the road show at some locations to offer residents information about its work in West Devon to help people who are homeless or sleeping rough. The independent charity also works to reduce the impact of poverty and financial exclusion in the local community with a soup kitchen, rural outreach programme and over 55s advice service. Homeowners who need to make repairs or improvements to their properties can get information from Wessex Resolutions when they visit the road show on certain dates. The community interest company offers affordable home loans as well as money management advice. Every session will be hosted by a borough council advisor who can help with council services such as council tax, recycling and benefits.
