Okehampton now has a full set of town councillors following a meeting this week (June 26) during which the remaining three seats were filled via co-option.
Since the local elections in May this year, the town council has been three members short. But this week, the empty seats were filled after councillors chose three out of seven applicants to fill the spaces in a process known as co-option.
The newly-named councillors are Cllr Terry Cummings, Cllr Michael Harding and Cllr Lynne Rogers.
