SATURDAY, July 6 will see the sixth Ruby Country Market in Hatherleigh.
The market was set up last year to recreate a bustling, traditional market in the heart of the community. The latest promises to be another bumper day, with around 200 stalls and many attractions.
Workshops will include pottery painting for both children and adults, and tasters in the skills of greenwood working, willow weaving, and fire lighting. For those happy to watch the experts at work, there will be live demonstrations of wood turning, leather tooling and a working blacksmith's forge.
There will be musical entertainment from Josie Lloyd, Mickey and Co, the Hatherleigh Bashers, Spin 2, and the Hatherleigh Bell Ringers.
Organisers have laid on additional parking, with the £1 fee being donated to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust. Visitors on foot will have no charge.
