A CHARITY helping the elderly and terminally ill look after their pets is desperately looking for volunteers in Hatherleigh.

The Cinnamon Trust is the national charity formed to support the elderly and terminally ill and their much loved, much needed pets.

Volunteers help to keep owners and pets together either by walking a dog for a housebound owner, fostering pets when the owners need hospital care and even cleaning out a bird cage.

The charity has a shortage of volunteers in Hatherleigh who are needed to offer much needed walks for a nine year old border collie.

The trust is desperate to find volunteers in this area, so even if you can only offer an hour a week, charity co-ordinators would like to hear from you.
