TWO fire engines from Okehampton were sent to a report of a car on fire on the slip road of the A30 eastbound at Sourton on Sunday morning (November 15).

Crews confirmed the vehicle was well alight and got to work extinguishing the blaze. They used two breathing apparatus and a compressed air foam jet. The vehicle was left severely damaged by the fire.
