DEVON County Council's Adult and Community Learning Service is teaming up with a specialist equestrian company at Whiddon Down to offer people a unique learning experience.
The Centre for Caring Horsemanship will he holding a 'Be Herd' workshop on Friday August 12 from 10am to 4pm, encouraging any groups that offer training for adults to have a go.
The course will help adults learn more about communicating through a range of simple exercises with a partner horse.
In the past these techniques have helped those with emotional problems or a physical impairment.
Penny Hill from the centre said: 'We take the learning out of the classroom and let you experience the magic of connecting with a horse to attain people skills.'
The centre offers horse riding lessons, training and schooling, as well as therapy for anyone who may need help with certain aspects of their life.
