STUDENTS and staff from Okehampton College will be teaming up on Saturday to raise money for deprived orphans in Bulgaria.

Mole Avon will play host to a charity car wash organised by the college to raise funds for a trip to work with orphans in Bulgaria next July. The trip will tie in with the work done by the House of Rachel charity.

It will be the third year the trip has been run, with the purpose to give orphans a week of structured play and activities.

In addition, it is a tremendous opportunity for college students to develop their own skills, experience new situations and touch the lives of youngsters less fortunate than themselves.

Cars will be cleaned by the college volunteers from 10am to 3pm.

The students and staff expressed thanks to Mole Avon for their kind support.
