A VERY sincere word of thanks to the kind folk at the United Reform Church in Russell Street for the warm welcome to their excellent Christmas day lunch and hospitality.

Being at home on my own this year, I took the opportunity to accept the lovely invitation from the Rev Roger Cornish to attend this event, which is now traditional in Tavistock town.

The 70 or so present really appreciated the meal, the company and the kindness – reflective of what Christmas is all about!
