HOUSEHOLDERS in West Devon are being offered help to reduce their energy bills and stay warm and cosy this winter.

Torridge, North, Mid and West Devon Citizens Advice is offering specialist energy advice as part of a new project funded by Scottish Power.

It is highlighting that people on low incomes and means-tested benefits may be eligible for a Warm Home Discount from their current energy supplier. Around 15 of the larger suppliers offer this.

Switching suppliers is another suggestion for saving money and the organisation is also flagging up fuel saving tips online at www.energysavingtrust.org.uk and www.cosydevon.com.
