THERE will be closures on the east and west bound carriageways of the A30 at Whiddon Down from now until August 19, the Highways Agency has said.

The westbound carriageway will be closed between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Thursday until August 9 and the eastbound between 9.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, until August 19.

The closures are for bridge works to take place.
