EVERYONE is welcome to come along and enjoy a special fete as Okehampton College celebrates its centenary this weekend.

There will be lots of fun activities for all the family including a welly throwing contest, a bouncy castle, a raffle, tombola, burgers and ice cream, as well as a table top sale, which will cost £5 per table.

There will also be a tree planting ceremony to celebrate the centenary.

The event is on Saturday, June 19 from 11am until 3pm in the college sports field.

The college is also holding a centenary ball to continue its celebrations. Guests can enjoy a three-course meal and bar, as well as a jazz band.

The ball will be held on Saturday, June 26 from 7.30pm until 11.30pm. Tickets cost £25 and are available from Claire MacKenzie at the curriculum support administration office. For more details phone 01837 650910.
