OKEHAMPTON Police Station will be holding an open day today (Thursday).

Everyone is welcome to come along to the event, which will offer people the chance to look at what the police do, how they do it and what equipment they use.

The open day will also give the chance to meet some of the police staff and ask questions of any concern and is aimed at building the public's confidence with the police.

The open day will be held from 2pm to 8pm at Okehampton Police Station.
