SHELTERBOX's Syria Refugee Appeal will be receiving a boost, thanks to an autumn concert by Moor Harmony.

The group wll present two concerts of 'The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace' by Karl Jenkins. It was originally commissioned by the Royal Armouries in 2000 to mark the end of a millennium scarred by war and to look forward with hope for a peaceful future.

More than two million refugees have now fled the violence in Syria and over 4 million remain displaced within the country. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the ShelterBox appeal.

The group will perform on Saturday, November 9 at St Andrew's Church in South Tawton. The performance starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 for adults, and are available from Beanfast in Okehampton and The Store in South Zeal.
