AN exciting new Saturday market in Hatherleigh took place in the town this Easter.

Among those offering their craft wares at the Ruby Market was Clare Tyson, from?Hatherleigh, with her traditional gypsy wagon — it was made in the Coronation year by Tommy Gaskin.

Clare is a wagon painter, sign-writer and narrow-boat artist.
