TWO cream tea events are being held in Belstone Village Hall this weekend.
On Saturday July 16 there will be an event in memory of Joyce Kastner from the Belstone Arts and Crafts Group.
Earlier this year Mrs Kastner had organised an 'At Home' cream tea in the village hall for all her friends, but it had to be postponed because of scheduled surgery. The group would now like to reinstate this to remember her life and talents. Mrs Kastner's friends and supporters and anyone who would like to see examples of this accomplished artist's work, are invited to the event from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
People are being asked to bring along their favourite picture by Mrs Kastner to celebrate 'a generous and talented lady.'
Another cream tea will be on Sunday (July 17) in the hall in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.
The CHSW Belstone Friends' Group will be hosting the event between 2.30pm and 5.30pm and hopes as many people as possible will be able to support it.
