FOUR of Hatherleigh Ladies' cricket team have played their part in Devon girls U15s and U17s success. The U17s team is top of the ECB U17 South and West League having played seven games; winning six with one abandoned due to rain.

The U15s team is also top of the ECB West League having won all six of its games so far.

Clara Nielson has consistently performed well with the ball for the U17s and was 'woman of the match' against Berkshire for a spell of five wickets for eight runs.

Frances Lausen has also had a good season for the U17s and was 'woman of the match' against Buckinghamshire for scoring 53 not out.

Clare Reynolds has bowled with greater consistency for the U15s side this year and has now also stepped up to play regularly for the U17s side. Anna Cherrington has continued to make progress as an all-rounder at U15 level and she also made her debut at U17 level.
