AT the annual meeting of Chagford Cricket Club all the officers were re-elected with Mike Wreford as president and Bryce Rundle as chairman.
Other posts include: David Watson as vice-chairman, Jon d'Arch Smith as secretary, Julian Wray as fixtures secretary and Trudie Rundle as treasurer.
The club's joint captains will once again be Jerry Christophers and Colin Mortimore, who will be leading the side in the C division of the Devon League.
The Sunday side, in the South Devon League, will be skippered by Simon Snell.
As well as fixtures against touring teams Chagford CC has entered the Newton Abbot and district 20/20 evening competition against teams such as Bovey Tracey and Chudleigh.
Mike Wreford, the president, said: 'The clubhouse is most hospitable, with excellent facilities on the ground. We welcome new members of any age or ability to fulfil this existing fixture list for the 2009 season.
'Indoor nets started on Sunday and the club is indebted to Peter Lever, the former Lancashire and England fast bowler, who will be giving expert coaching at these nets. Peter also coached England, Lancashire and Kenya and many of his proteges have made their name in county and Test cricket and the club is sure that many local players can benefit from his expertise.'
