THE team at Chagford Dental Practice really got their teeth into a mammoth fundraising event, having raised over £3,500 for the Devon Air Ambulance.

Dentist Simon Channing, hygienist Jackie Hammans, dental nurses Zoe Francis and Tam Radford, receptionist Sandra Hill and former colleague Sam Hill all took part in the Three Peaks Challenge. It involves climbing the tallest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland, Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis, within a 24 hour period. The Chagford team managed completed the feat in 23 hours and 48 minutes. Their efforts have raised £3,508.55.

Simon Channing said: 'People have been incredibly supportive and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank them all for their generosity. 

'The Three Peaks Challenge certainly was a challenge but we managed it, and within the time allowed, despite some really adverse weather conditions. It's good to be able to support Devon Air Ambulance Trust – they are a much needed resource for us living here.'
