IN the Okehampton Netball League division one Dodgers played Hi Line in what started as an evenly matched game. Dodgers played some superb netball and there was only three goals separating the teams at the end of the first quarter. Hi Line put on the pressure and over the next two quarters to increase their lead by eight goals. Dodgers began to tire in the last quarter and Hi Line pulled away to win the match 51-28.

Also in division one the Magpies played Jammie Dodgers in another evenly matched game which could have gone either way. Magpies were first to score however at the end of the first quarter Jammie Dodgers had pulled it back and led by one goal. The lead changed again and Magpies went into the last quarter leading by five goals. With all to play for Jammie Dodgers fought back with some great passing and shooting but Magpies held on to win the match 44-37.

In the second division Lifton played Sparks in a tough match as both teams were players short; Lifton only having five players. Both teams played well with some good defending from Sparks' GD and GK. Lifton kept pressuring Sparks and their determination and good steady passing saw them win 23-19.

n Monday saw the last matches of the first half of the season for the junior netball league.

Originalz started the game against Shebbear Lions playing the netball that shows why they are leading the first division. Shebbear started to gain in confidence and won the third quarter 4-3 however Originalz's lead was too great and despite some good quality play from Shebbear, Originalz won 22-8.

In the second division The Not so Inbetweeners showed some good solid netball to beat Mud Pies 18-0. Some of the second division matches have appeared to be one sided, however the teams have all played exceptionally well and often the scores have not reflected the games.
