IN this fast and competitive game Falcons crown has finally been lost after an unbeaten record of ten years. Both teams were evenly matched and there was nothing to separate them after the first quarter when they were level at 8-8.
After the second quarter it was still neck and neck at 18-18.
In the third quarter Falcons just edged in front with some lovely fluid play from young Hayley Curtis and it looked as if they might retain their unbroken record. However in the last quarter Hi Line pulled away after Katie Taylor scored some great goals to sneak into the lead and finish the game winning by three goals.

BUMBLE Bees played some good netball and never gave up against the hard to beat Lions. The score did not really reflect the standard of netball being played in this match.
Another solid performance from India Martin ensured Shebbear kept their lead at the top of the table but Molly Petherbridge from Bumble Bees had another convincing game making some good moves around court.

Another good game for Shooting Stars this week once again losing out to the experience of the other team. Sadie Barnes scored some lovely goals for Wallabies ensuring a comfortable win.
